Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports PBIS?
is a framework that integrates Social Emotional Learning practices that support the Mental Health and Social Emotional needs of all students. The district PBIS framework incorporates research and evidenced-based interventions for Social Emotional Learning instruction, intervention, and assessment practices to ensure students receive the proper level of support to be successful. The district policy, PBIS Framework, and Social Emotional Learning action plan support the district’s goal of achieving academic excellence and meeting the social-emotional needs of all students in a safe and supportive learning environment. This year we are excited to announce that all COJUSD school sites have earned distinctive PBIS State recognitions for successful implementation of the PBIS practices.
