To report a student absence please call 559-528-4751.
Children should be at school every day unless ill.
Call our attendance line when your child is absent.
Cafeteria opens at 7:00am for students to be dropped off.
Gates open at 7:50.
A student is considered tardy after 8:00 a.m.
Family trips should be planned during school vacations.
California Law states that student, must attend school, regularly, and arrive on time. Students must behave in school. Parents are legally responsible for the attendance and behavior of their children at school.

District Attendance Policy
All schools in the district have the following
attendance/tardy/behavior policy, known as the SARB process. The
SARB Board provides several organizational structures at the local
and county level that create a safety net for students with persistent
attendance or behavior problems. Although the goal of SARBs is to
keep students in school and provide them with meaningful
educational experiences, SARBs do have the power, when necessary,
to refer students and their parents or guardians to court.
SARB Letter #1: 3rd unexcused absence for K-5th
grade: (for 6th-12th grade students this constitutes for
21 period absences), YOU WILL RECEIVE 1st SARB
LETTER. Please call the school personnel to discuss
this matter.
SARB Letter #2: 5th unexcused absence for K-5
grade: (for 6th-12th grade students this constitutes for
28 period absences), YOU WILL RECEIVE 2nd
SARB LETTER. SART-The school personnel will be
calling to schedule a meeting to discuss this problem.
SARB Letter #3: 7th unexcused absence K-5th grade:
(for 6th -12th grade students this constitutes for 35
period absences), YOU WILL RECEIVE 3rd SARB
LETTER.
A doctor’s note will be required after3 consecutive
absences.If you are unable to take your child to the
doctor, you may bring your child to school to be
evaluated by the school nurse.Telehealth doctor’s
appointments may be available.
