Greetings for the 2025-2026 Academic Year!

On behalf of our committed teaching team and support staff, I'm delighted to welcome both returning and new families to our educational community. We're excited to have you join us and anticipate a year brimming with discovery, progress, and success.

Here at Palm School, we recognize that consistent attendance is essential to both academic achievement and character development. We maintain our expectation of at least 96% attendance across the academic year. Regular participation in classroom activities strengthens students' educational journey and builds habits of dedication and accountability. When your child must miss school, please contact our main office at 559-528-4751 to document their absence.

Our dedication to reading excellence continues to be paramount. "Literacy is King" serves as our guiding principle at Palm School, and we remain focused on developing strong reading capabilities in every student. This academic year, we're working toward having 90% of our second-grade learners achieve grade-level reading proficiency or higher. To advance this objective, we recommend that all students participate in a minimum of 30 minutes of independent reading each day. Your partnership in nurturing your child's love of reading is essential to their educational journey.

Additionally, we're pursuing comprehensive academic growth, targeting a 5% improvement in our CAASPP (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress) results. This objective demonstrates our dedication to ongoing enhancement and scholastic distinction.

Creating a secure and uplifting school environment continues to be our primary focus. Our Panther P.R.I.D.E. values serve as our foundation for encouraging compassion, understanding, and thoughtful conduct.
