Dear Palm School Families and Community,


As Interim Principal of Palm Elementary School, I’d like to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year! I hope you are doing well and had a restful summer break. We are excited to greet you back on campus and more excited to have our classrooms once again filled with energy and enthusiasm for learning.  It is our mission to have our students feel welcomed, connected, safe and part of the Panther family. Our school’s theme this year is ACTION.  Together we will take ACTION to prepare our students to achieve academic success by building critical thinking skills, becoming powerful communicators, and productive citizens who are prepared to compete in a global economy.


At Palm School, we know that our parents are our partners in their child’s education and we strive to keep in constant communication with you to increase your child’s learning experience.  We encourage you to be an active participant in your child’s education by being connected through Parent Square, Class Dojo, Palm School Facebook page, and Seesaw. You can also keep track of your child’s grades through Aeries Gradebook. Another important way to be involved in your child’s education is to join School Site Council (SSC) or English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC). Here you will be able to give your input about various ways to enhance your child’s education. 


Palm School also PRIDEs itself on having a safe, and positive campus environment that is conducive to learning.  Following our PBIS PRIDE (Positive, Respectful, Integrity, Determined, Excellence) expectations, allows students to feel safe and secure while meeting their social-emotional needs. Every single person on our campus makes every effort to ensure there is no bullying or harassment happening on our campus.  Our social-emotional team is very present and proactive in ensuring the physical and emotional safety of our children.
